A life-changing summer theatre experience for young people.  Great for kids who enjoy theatre and acting and students looking to pursue a career in acting.

SHAKESPEARE SCHOOL SESSIONS

Day Camp: July 17 to 21 (9 am to 4 pm)

Lord Chamberlain's Company students will receive an introduction to the language, stories, characters and ideas in Shakespeare's plays through:

  • Improvisation
  • Games
  • Group work
  • The session will culminate in a showcase of scenes and speeches from Shakespeare's plays.

Nutritional snacks provided, but students must bring their own lunch.

Early Bird Pricing Extended! $350 by February 26
After February 26: $375
Optional extended care between 4 and 5 pm: $50 for the session

Residential Program: July 9 to 15 SOLD OUT

These programs are ideal for any young person who has a keen interest in exploring either classical (Shakespeare) or musical theatre. Students will take part in a rigorous schedule of classes, workshops, discussions, rehearsal and playgoing, with a focus on:

  • Acting
  • Text
  • Voice
  • Movement

Residential Program Dates

Theatre Performance Intensive students participate in an intensive curriculum designed for the more experienced actor who is working towards a career in the performing arts.

  • Classes may include but are not limited to:
  • Classical and modern text analysis and performance
  • Neutral mask
  • Audition technique and repertoire
  • Alexander technique
  • Voice movement and performance
  • Industry information (résumés, headshots, agents, etc.)

Students will leave fully prepared for what will be expected and required of them at theatre school and in the professional world.
