Founded over 30 years ago by theatrical producer and arts patron, Hope Abelson, The Chicago Associates of the Stratford Festival (CASF) supports young, professional actors to attend our Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre, The Associates also actively promote each season's playbill and manage events in Chicago and the US Members' Weekend in Stratford, ON in August.

All our Members living in the state of Michigan automatically belong to the Michigan Members group. The Michigan Members group actively help promote each season and also contribute to numerous educational initiatives. The group also hosts the annual US Members events in Stratford in June of each year.
The Michigan Residency
The Residency is an annual education outreach program bringing our artists to Michigan schools and universities with the goal of promoting Shakespeare and encouraging and nurturing an understanding and interest in classical theatre.The Residency is supported through the Michigan Education Outreach Fund.
Established in 2007, the fund helps ensure the future of our educational outreach programs in Michigan.
